As a parish community, St. Camillus creates opportunities to purchase gift cards that give twice -- both to your loved ones and to an organization working for peace and justice. Recent organizational recipients include: The Fieffe Foundation for Haiti, Bilingual Education for Central America (BECA), the Lakota Native American Reservation, the Salvadoran Enterprise for Women, Catholic Relief Services' Ebola response, Tent of Nations, and the Parents Circle Families Forum. Parishioners may nominate organizations about which they have first-hand knowledge, which are U.S.-based or international 501(c)(3) non-profits and spend less than10% on overhead expenses. After Sunday masses (8 am - 12 pm), enjoy coffee, tea, donuts and bagels, fruit, and fellowship while practicing global solidarity. Parishioners have an opportunity to purchase products from the Catholic Relief Services Fair Trade Program. Fair Trade coffee, tea, olive oil, cocoa, chocolate, and other products ensure that the individuals who produce them receive a living wage regardless of the change of prices for traded commodities and goods.
