Frank González has been a member of the St. Camillus Parish since 2010. Since joining the Parish he has been a member of the Hospitality Group that serves the 12:30 PM Sunday Spanish Mass and the Parish Council, where he is currently the coordinator for both groups. He loves working with the St. Camillus community and is always providing his service and any assistance to the parish. Frank is a retired United States Army Warrant Officer and currently works for the Department of Defense. He is from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. Frank currently resides in Fort Meade, MD with his wife and two sons.
Carole Philogene Coaxum has been a member of the St. Camillus family for over 30 years. She is retired and enjoys volunteering in parish life. She is one of the contact people and founding members of the Haitian and French African communities. She has served in different committees and ministries such as Meals on Wheels, Faith Formation, the Intercultural team, and the St. Francis Builds board. She is always willing to serve when and wherever necessary.
Rupali Teresa Gomes has been a member of St. Camillus since 2009. She has been involved with the Bangla Community Choir and Multicultural church choir. She is a member of the Bangla community Legion of Mary since 2017. Rupali and her husband have 3 children and are involved in the faith formation program. Rupali operates a day care center with her mom in Beltsville. Rupali is also involved at St. Joseph School as an ECP teacher.
Martha Huber joined the Parish in 2017, after living in Italy for over 20 years. Fluent in Italian, French, Spanish, and German, thanks to her life experiences abroad, Martha has worked as an interpreter, translator, and ESL teacher. She is passionate about building bridges through intercultural dialogue; the vibrant, intercultural community of St. Camillus has proven to be the right place for a fresh start. She and Rex Elliott were married here in 2018 and live in Laurel. Both are active in the parish. Martha is involved in a variety of activities: Parish Council, Lector, Food Pantry, St. Francis Builds, Intercultural Team, St. Camillus Stitchers, events planning, fund-raising, and the Garden and Grounds Ministry. Martha is very close to her family of four children and five grandchildren, travelling to see them when she can; she loves growing vegetables in her home garden as well as preparing meals to share with friends.
Rosemary Lawson has been a member of St. Camillus Parish for over 20 years. She has served in several ministries throughout the years and is currently a lector, a member of the English-speaking Legion of Mary, and Faith Formation. Rosemary particularly enjoys being a catechist with Faith Formation teaching first communion. She been married for 38 years and has two adult sons.
Willy Njeh has been a parishioner of Saint Camillus for 12 years. He lives in Lanham Maryland. Willy is married to Mireille Njeh and blessed to be the father of Prunelle (5) and Ayden (3). He has been an assistant catechist to Yannick since 2014 and a Pastoral council member with the African community. Willy works with JP Morgan Chase Bank & Co as a Finance Controller.
Marilyn Santos is the Associate Director of the Secretariat of Evangelization and Catechesis at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. She previously served as the Director of Mission Education in the National Office of the Pontifical Mission Societies in the United States. A native New Yorker, she taught and served as a youth minister with the Salesians in the Archdiocese of New York. She has held leadership positions in youth, young adult and cultural diversity ministries in the Archdiocese of Atlanta, the Diocese of Brooklyn and the Diocese of Metuchen. Marilyn served as the President of La RED-the National Catholic Network de Pastoral Juvenil Hispana and as a consultant for the USCCB Secretariat on Laity, Marriage, Family & Youth. She served as a VIDES-Salesian Sisters Missionary in Ecuador. She has spoken and presented workshops at multiple national and diocesan conferences and gatherings including those sponsored by the USCCB, NCEA, NCCL, NFCYM, LA Religious Ed Congress and the Mid-Atlantic Congress. She currently serves as a member of the Holy Name Province of the Order of Franciscan Minors (OFM) Formation and Studies Directorate.
Abigael Wilson is a lover of music and praise & worship. She is involved with several choirs in our parish. Abigael is a medical assistant working with the DC Department of Health. She lives in Adelphi, MD with her husband and their two daughters. She is a member of the Music Ministry.
